Post Has anyone tried the new Polarg G-35's?

There has been a lot of post on replacement bulbs for both the TL and the TL's. I found a site that showed all the different bulbs and their replacements. In my search for new front turn signals, I see that most of you switched to Polarg M-12's. Polarg now has a replacement, the G-35 Super Whites. Has anyone had a chance to try these out? I think I might be the guinea pig cuz they look pretty sweet.

I don't think anyone has tried them yet. $20 per bulb is kinda high. I would rather pay $40 for the vent trim.

But Someone has tried the G-34. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/Album...4683&f=0&vt=vp

The G-35 look pretty sweet. As for brightness, they might seem a bit brighter cuz of the coating but I don't think by much cuz they are the same wattage as teh M-12.

The advantage you might get is that they won't seem as blue when they are off which would be nice.

I was just browsing around and found this site.
http://www.eautoworks.com/html/new_products.cfm

Just scroll down the list of new products and you'll see Polarg G-35 Visual Super Whites. I'm not quite sure of the differences between these and the M-12's, but I think it's how the lights look when off. The M-12's are a dark blue, easily seen when car is off. The G-35's are a metallic look so they will look normal when off.

How can someone put M-6's in the turn signal? It has to be a double-filament bulb, not a wedge bulb. Are you talking for the rear signals? These G-35's are for the fronts cuz they are 1157 compatible.

Has anyone tried the PIAA 1157 Xtreme White bulbs for their corners? Those are only about 12.50 a piece and supposedly match the HID's in our TL's.

no seriously! I'm really thinking hard about which ones to buy. A lot of people have Polarg M-12's.... good deal at only $9 each. Then I see PIAA has the 1157 Xtreme Whites, at only $12.50 a piece... and then there the high priced G-35's at $20 a piece. But which ones look better? I need opinions, and of course so does everyone else! The PIAA website says that there's match the HID's very well even with only 27/8 watts. The G-35's are 35/5w. How much difference does that make?
Tim - you gonna carry any of this stuff?

BDI the description is wrong but the wattage and bulb type are correct. Those are 1157 (double filiment, 27/8). Piaa part is 19228. The Polarg M-12 are 35/5, so they will be brighter than the piaa when you are signaling but not as bright when you have the parking lights on. But the color temp of the Piaa is 4150 where the polarg is probably not a nice a white color.

On that site they are $20 a pair. But if you are willing to wait, check these sites out.

You think we could convince Tim to get some connections with these new PIAA's? I bet if he got enough people wanting them he would go for it. He seems to favor PIAA bulbs over any others on his website. I think of the three choices (PIAA, Polarg M-12's, and Polarg M-35's) I am going to go with the PIAA cuz they have the brighter running light with a higher temperature, and they supposedly match our HID's better. I dont want a bright blinker attracting more attention to myself. Anyone else find any good sites for these bulbs? I've tried many of the links provided on this post. The cheapest I found was $12.50 a piece.

Tim!! Can you help us out any???

Gosh... now I cant decide again. $20 for a pair (PIAA) or $20 each (G-35's) Both are supposed to be sweet, but theres gotta be a reason why the others are so expensive. PIAA's are not usually the cheaper ones. Can anyone give me some good points for either?

Sorry for the confusion, the polarg m6's are for the CL type S road lamps. I was just comparing the color between the two since both are not really HID and they just produce a color like HID.
IMO the polarg m6's give a pretty good match but the TL owners's can't use them, anyways I also heard the g-35's are slightly blueer .than white.

Check out the Hiper Industries new 50/15w 1157 bulb at www.24hiper.com. It's the highest wattage bulb I have found for our front corners. It's in the "what's new" section.

The PIAAs have a blue color to them when of while the Poloargs are not so blue.

I'm sure as far a brightness goes, they are pretty darn close. I'm going with the Xtreme PIAAs because I cannot justify $20 per bulb for the other ones.

Like you said, I rather have the bright running lights. 12.50 is pretty good IMO. I know Tim has many PIAA lights, so I'm sure if we email him, we will get an answer right away.

dang, 50/15! I know the sockets are supposed to be able to handle up to twice the stock bulbs but still, isn't this a bit high? They would definately be bright though..
