Correct me if misread something here: You spanked an M5 yet a 2K2 Max SE kicked yer butt?

A late model M5, perhaps?

That's right. You read correctly. The M5 was only a 3.0L, not the 4.4L. We were on the freeway going about 65mph. I was in the middle lane when he came up really fast on my left then slowed to my speed and gave me a nod. He first revved his engine a bit and smiled at me. I checked his door and found out it was a 3.0L. So I smiled back and dropped her into 3rd gear. I then heard his nice engine roar and we both took off. We were dead even for about a second and then I started to pull away. I shut it down around 95mph with about 4 car lengths between us. He gave me a quick flash with his brights and never came up again. Can I consider that a kill?

Yes you can! Happy one year to your baby! I need to check what the born on date of my baby is. Now did you use the date you bought her, brought her home, or when it was assembled?

Good point. I used the date when I took her home. Didn't check for the assembly date yet.

Sure you don't mean an X5 like this?

Nothing personal, but an M5 could have taken you, stopped off for coffee and a donut and still been miles ahead of you.

Happy Birthday anyway.

Oops, what the heck was I thinking? :p Yeah, I mean the X5. I totally agree that the M5 can blow me away with its hands down. I went ahead and corrected my original post. Thanks for the correction NSXNEXT.
