H&R Sport Springs, WTH?

Where can I find these suckers, H&R Sport Springs 50103. My '03 looks nasty with the gap. I've tried this site (autocarparts.com) and they ran out. I ordered at sounddomain.com and tirerack.com and both of them ran out.

I've been trying to get 50103 for almost six months now and to no avail. Anyone know what site has them? I also live in Southern California so I'm also willing to drive to auto places if you know they carry it.

Please help. I've asked this before, but then the thread got lost because of malfunction.

Thanks.

Try King Motorsports. I bought my H&R OE Sport springs from them about a week ago and got them in 3 days.

Dang, I'm afraid they don't have the one I'm looking for at KingMotorsports.com.

They only have the one designed for the earlier build of the TL with the product number 51858 Sport Springs.

I'm looking for the newer setup 50103
designed specifically for the '03 as some members here can confirm that this will give it an even drop all corners, whereas the 51858 will sag in the back.

I'm having no luck, am I? Any other sites or auto stores in Southern California you guys can recommend that have the 50103 setup?

Thanks guys but they don't have it.

At speeddriven.com, they only had the 51858.

At optionsautosalon.com, they ran out of the 50103.

Any other places?

lodoss, i have the older H&R sport setup(51858) with stock struts in my 2002 TLS and there is absolutely NO sagging in the rear..my car is perfectly even, and if anything, slightly higher in the rear than front..I DON'T have a system in the trunk or anything heavy in the rear, so keep that in mind.

How about www.shox.com? I bought my sway bars and struts from them for a good price. Their price for H&R springs was higher than King Motorsports but they may have spring kit you want.

This is reassuring. But then according to Pure Adrenaline and hemnants, the 51858 sags in the back and since I have the '03 car the newer setup would fit just right, which would be the 50103.

Hmmm...conflicting issue. What to do, what to do...

lodoss22,

I looked into the 50103's as well for my 03-TLS, circa December of last year and no one has them in stock. Tirerack and all the others are out of stock. So I went with Comptech Springs and they are great. Not slammed, yet a noticeable drop. I ordered them and received them in three days, and YES, they are IN stock.
Which ever springs you go with, good luck.

I tried this place, thanks. But I don't think they have the 50103 setup. I sent them an e-mail waiting for a confirmation.

Thanks a lot guys for your help. Searching for the 50103 was like Dan Marino trying to win a Super Bowl.

gagetrol,

I probably will have to go with the Comptech Springs also as my patience is running thin on looking for the H&R Sport Springs 50103. I hear Comptech gives it a rake look which I don't like. But I guess this will have to suffice because the 50103 no longer exists on the face of the planet.

69tl,

Comptech Springs, according to this site, is listed at $300.08.

is it that these springs are no longer made or just everyone is out of stock on them and has to order them for you?

The item is usually on backorder. So I would be patient and ask them how long it would take. They answer approximately 6-8 weeks. I waited for Tirerack.com for over 1 and a half month and still they have no definitive answer; thus I cancel my order.

At other sites, usually I get an e-mail telling me the item is also on backorder so they just cancel my order on the spot without my authorization. I guess they don't want to deal with a lot of hassle with just one customer.

musclehead,

Thanks for the site. Right now I'm waiting for their response since they are away for the holiday. I'm hoping they have the 50103 and the HKS exhaust, if not I'm just going to go with Comptech springs and exhaust.

bryan03TLS,

Calling tirerack.com would be unnecessary. I communicated with my sale representative via e-mail. Basically, the 50103 are all on backorder for every site it seems and H&R apparently have not been producing them any longer. Thanks for your concern.
