That's where I bought my car (San Antonio, TX) and the sales portion of their service was fantastic. Now Gunn is following that up with excellent customer service. Dropped my car off Saturday for some warranty stuff (creaks) and replacement of my hood (hail damage...Gunn is replacing/painting for free) AND was most impressed with their service and even more so by the loaner. I was in contact with the dealership's GM and he is who arranged everything. Well, since I'm taking the loaner for 1-2 weeks and back to Houston, I figured I would be getting the crappiest loaner possible (based on what Charlie Thomas Acura gives out). Much to my surprise, we recieved the sales manager's demo....a 2001 CL-S, NBP, with a spoiler..........incredible. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at their service.

Did you have to pay less sales tax?

I think the sales tax is lower in San Antonio compared to Houston and Dallas.

 

You know, I never even checked about that! Iff it was any lower (although I'm not sure sales tax is any different statewide for vehicle purchases)...then that's just an added bonus. At the time, we were looking to replace our flooded out car, could not find ANYTHING in Houston and were running out of time. Since we were already getting a great deal on the price ($27,779), I didn't care WHAT the tax was.

I agree with you TL4Mo. Gunn is an excellent dealership. I bought my '99 and my TL-S from them. They treat me like I'm a king when I walk in there! Glad to hear you have gotten the same treatment.
