I brought my car in on monday of this week in the morning for service (tranny is shot) and they still did not get in the new tranny !! 5 days later! They wont even give me a loaner because of insurance purposes. So i am pretty much paralyzed right now without my car. Acura Service Sucks massive balls. :rocketwho

sounds more like your dealership sucks balls. i've gotten a loaner every time they service mine and others have gotten the tranny work done much quicker...

find a new dealership

yes, you are right , they called me about 5 minutes ago to tell me they finally got it in and it should be ready by tomorrow afternoon.

what do they mean no loaner for "insurance purposes?" That is the biggest piece of BS I've heard in a long time.

Most insurance policies will not cover any drivers under the age of 25. I had this problem 6 years ago while trying to rent a car. There was only one rental place that would rent to people 18 year olds. a few would rent to you if you were 22 but most I have found won't rent to you unless you are over 25.

That's kind of the reason your insurance drops drastically when you are 25, plus at 25 you can drive a friends viechle with out being on the insurance.

its all bull, i'm 21 getting a rental without a problem from acura dealer. tell them whatsup or get your mother or an older brother to get the rental... dont let them wash you with bullshit. acura corporate pays them well for them to replace your tranny tell them you want your car to another dealership, they lose ALOT of money if you go to another place.

Yeah what dealership is this, and did they try to pull any bullshit on you because of the NOS you have, and try to blame it on that? I would be curious to know. I heard of a story, where someone's tranny wasn't covered because, of the Comptech Supercharger.
