Great site guys!
I'm in the market for a $30K 4door car, I'll pobably pick one up my Feb/March.
I started w/ the BMW 330 & 325. With the sport package and some options I was between 34-37K w/out leather.
Next: Audi A4. 1.8T looked nice, drove nice, but my current car is a 4cyl. turbo 4wd.(Eagle talon) Don't want a similar car. The 2.8 cost as much as the BMW, I'd rather have a BMW.
Next: Lexus IS300.
Looked funky, a little like a civic though. The wife hated it - no test drive.
Not really liking it at first, the front runner in my car quest is the TL 3.2.
27K, leather, sunroof .... you guys know the rest, + 225 hp.
I test drove one today. SWEEEEEEEEEEEET
Although I had fun w/ the navigation system, I'm too cheap to fork over $2K for it.
But thanks to this site, I know see that there will soon be a Type S. DOH! 265hp, 17" rims. I asked the dealer about it (long island, NY), but he didn't know when they'd be coming in and for how much.
So I think I'm going to wait till I can see a Type S and how much they go for before I decide to buy a TL, 2002TL or 2002 TLS.

The new 2002 TL-S is coming to the NY auto show the week of April 14-21 (probably at the Jacob Javitz Center) if you want to see it in person.
