just the inflator,, which causes bag to inflate too quickly and can injure you bad!!
age for loaners is based on state law regarding rental cars and insurance on them- thats what loaners are considered, most places its 25, a few 21
loaners are at dealer discretion and availabilty- a paying customer with a 105 service needs a car all day-- so they come first on the list
You are warranty/recall, not making much money for the shop, are last on the list unless you know to pre-bribe the staff with a box of donuts, then you are king!

My dealer doesn't do loaners at all. It took about 45 minutes for them to replace mine, but I had to go to the dealer first for them to verify the VIN before they would order the parts. Kind of stupid since they have the service history of the car since it was new and I had the notice letter. Oh well, it did fix a rattle/rub in the steering wheel that I had at idle.

phone is actual `acura care center`- customer service
If you register online at acura.com it should cross over,
but in the past has not shared info amongst its own systems

Registering Cdn Veh
Helpful folks who said no outsanding recalls etc.
Deregistered my 02 so as to not get reminder notices in future if next owner fails to register it

Yep...got my airbag thingie replaced as a result of the recall.
In terms of freebies from the service dept. I've only received free oil changes on my next service with the dealer. AND...that only happens when I've dropped heavy dough on a previous service...like $700 or more. LOL.

02 WDP type-S Navi
I had this done two weeks ago, they hooked me up with an 09 TSX to mess around with The only way to fix ur steering wheel, is to replace it, they sure as heck ain't gonna replace that for you for free. Just buy a steering wheel cover for it, I got one from target that almost matches my interior color.

I brought my 02TL-S for the airbag recall a couple weeks ago. I dropped
my car off. I got a call an hour later, and the dealership ordered the
wrong part. The gave me a loaner for a day 2010 TL-SH AWD. Man that
thing was nice.

So I went in to buy 3-liters of tranny fluid and figured I might as well setup a time to take my car in for the recall since I got the letter last month. The dude said there are two different types of airbags and they would have to remove it, find out which one, order it, that takes a day, then the next day the part should come in and swap it in. Since it takes 2 days, I get a free loaner, sweet!

i got mine done a few months ago and i didnt get my letter yet.
i was near my dealer ( i live half hour away ) so i stopped in and checked the status.
car was under recall, so my advisor ordered the part and said it will be in the next day.
he gave me a loaner (2010 TSX Tech Aspec) to save me a trip, and said he will call me in a couple days.
so if you have a good relationship with your dealer/advisor, you really dont need the letter.

you never need the recall letter to obtain service under the recall-
thats only a notice to the last known owner in acuras records
1 reason to register with them~ 1-800-382-2238x5
the cars VIN confirms if its in the specified group- dealer service dept computer has the info, and if so- into the shop it goes
recalls are done at NO CHARGE to the customer
Dealer does its best to provide loaner car- better for you to go in tues wed to get one
