Burning Brakes
I'd taker the 3G over my 2G; I've had a 3G as a loaner twice now and it was tighter and faster. I wasn't wowed by the amenities; all the hardware looks like it came out of a 2G (mirror, stereo, column sticks, etc) - It was like "nothing new inside...".

3G has stiffer chassis it seems and handles better stock. 2G looks better and is more fun to drive AT vs. AT that is. I have not driven a 6MT, but I bet my previous statement would go out the window. I do not like drive-by-wire I feel it disconnects the driver from the road. Also there are limited mods for the 3G, which hopefully that will change. My next car will be a 3G 6MT, someday, only because it's not an auto. If they made 02-03 TL-S in 6MT I would definitely take that over a 3G 6MT.
