Good transmission

How many of you are there with a good transmission (very first one that came with a car), provided that you own 2001 and newer TL or TLS with about 50K miles or more?

I have 93K on my 2000TL with still original tranny. Took it in for the recall check and they said it looked OK and put in a OilJet cooler.

CHUCKSTL did you have to pay for the new one or you got it under warranty?

For the rest of the people, what are the other real problems you experienced, other then squeaks/rattles and brakes? The only real problem for me was transmission, so far.

BTW, I just got a new transmission yesterday, 2002 TL bought in august 2001 with about 38K miles.
According to this web site, it looks like 99 i.e. 4 speed lasts longer but ultimately dies, that is why I asked 2001 and newer, but never mind, please keep posting.

There is one interesting thing I noticed yesterday by looking into my “new” transmission. There is no recall, i.e. oil jet on it! I was able to see that screw again (I had a recall installed on my original transmission) where you are supposed to put transmission fluid in it. Mind you, with that recall applied, they would put a tube where that screw is.. How can we explain this? Does it mean that they fixed it internally (it looks like) so that it does not need that tubing?
And what does it mean for the people who have one? May be it just postpones enough transmission death?
I think, just out of curiosity, that I am going to give a call again to Acura customer relations and ask some more questions.
