Post good tl-price?

Hi,

New to the forum and I see how helpful everyone is around here.
Im not a TL owner but will be soon (hopefully). Hoping someone can help me out.

I just checked out the dealer here in nyc for a
2000 3.2 TL 42k Miles Silver (No Nav.)
Original price was $16,900. I talked him down to $16,000 including tax. Interior was good with minor scratches in bumper. You guys think this is a good price?

-Thanks!

look around for a navi TL, you can get one for roughly the same price. its worth a couple hundred more.

I have a '99 TL with NAVI I got it for about 16800 with tax over a year ago. The NAVI is pretty tight, even though the '99 has a hard drive - unlike the others with DVD. I dont know if you are at all interested in upgrading the stereo - it sucks a&& in my and many other peoples opinion. But, with NAVI you run into problems, because you have to relocate the stock radio (if you upgrade) cause the NAVI goes through the same wiring harness...

In other words - if you dont care about the stereo, try to get NAVI cause its cool, and I have actually used it - very helpfull. If you really want to upgrade, then if I did it again, I wouldnt have gotten NAVI cause of the problems I ran into, but I got it done and now I have both!!!! so whatever you think.

That price is really pretty good IMO if you think the car is in good condition, mine was and still is in perfect condition.

You will love the car!!!

16,000 INCLUDING TAX?

That's approx. $14,750 without the tax - GOOD DEAL

I paid 15,500 for a 2000 TL 43,000 miles with the 1 yr certified Acura Warranty from Island Acura in Wantagh (Long Island, NY).

No navi, but the dash does have a nice wood grain finish - I haven't seen that on other TL's.

Definitely a good price, when I was looking to buy a 2000TL in the summer every dealer on Long Island was asking 20,000 (about 22,000 w/ tax). This was before the 04 TL came out. The only way your gonna find a similar price to that is buy it privately. I went a totaly different route and got one much cheaper with less miles...

well if anyone interested I would sell my 99tl blue with 136kmiles with Navi, I got drilled rotors and I replaced with new Tranny, because old died. I also got the timing belt and new water pump and many more replaced, and oh yea the motor and tranny mount too. THe only problem ppls see is the mileage, but hey I'm selling it for about 10,000 everything fixed and replaced plus the tranny, if no buyer that's fine, then I'll hook it up, but If I sell it then its fine too.

Bought it from a consignment sale/auction. Saved a ton, car was in perfect conidition(one minor scatch and two very small dings, inside perfect - 30,000 miles). Saved a ton, got it at a dealer price.
