Good bye my friends...Good bye my TL
Sup guys,
I am here to say good bye to all of you. I will move back to my home country sometime around Mid June and may not return U.S in furture.
It was great to be a member in ACURA-TL family. I will miss you guys.
And my car is for sell at "Sell/Wanted fourm."
Please go there and take a look.

You definitely will be missed. I wish you nothing but the best. I see you have had your car for sale for a while and it still hasnt sold. What are you gonna do with it if it doesnt sell? I would hate to see you sell it to a dealer where they will rape you on it.

Which country are you going back to? can't you bring your TL back with you? It make sense if you came from countries like Taiwan and the like. Since you can save on the tax and stuff

it does cost a lot of money to transport the car to taiwan.. and one person can do that only once in a life time. But the thing is, if you need to go for maintaince, there might not be parts for the TL/Inspire/Saber in Taiwan... though some parts from the Accords are interchangeble

Since Taiwan doesn't import any TL parts..
So I decide not to take it back.

I think he would sell them but he doesnt have the stock parts to put back on the car. Maybe if you gave him the stock parts you have you guys might be able to do something.

That sucks man!!!! The dealer is gonna bend you over when you sell it back to them. They dont care about the mods you have .
I had a 98 jeep grand cherokee limited with the brushguards runnung boards catz fogs and the crash grill on the back. and took it to the dealer they offerd me 10,000 I laughed in their face. The dealer told me they dont care whats on the car they arent gonna give you anything for aftermarket because most people dont care for that stuff.
I would buy your car in a heartbeat but I have a 99 tl I would need to sell first. Right now the market for tls is 19,000 to 20,000 for 99s and I owe 21,000. I have seen some peoples tl in the paper for 2 months that still arent selling for 19,000$ life sucks

I went to dealer last week, and they told me the same thing.
They don't care about the mods on my car. One of the sales told me that I should get the better deal by selling in private.

I am from Taiwan, too... So, I know that they have a few TLs in TaiChung city. But yes, the parts is gonna kill you, cuz those ain't from the dealer.
Anyhow... good luck...
It cost a lot, and lots of paper work to bring a car back to Taiwan. But know a few people who have done that... They took expensive cars like the 911, F355 back there with them, and they basically sell those cars after a year. Still made a little money on it. But basically that's just enough to cover the interest. They kinda drive that car two years for free. But I guess it's too late for you to do that, now...
and with the way the Economy is going... might get you a lot of trouble if you drive a 911

I'd prefer to sell my TL as a whole.
However, it is possible that I can sell it by parts only if someone is willing to give me their stock parts to my TL. (And of course, the labor chager is on the buyer)
