Go For It?
I currently drive a '97 Explorer and am basically fed up and sick of it.
I really want a 2nd generation TL, but the only way for me to get one and pay it off would be to buy one with 80k+ miles on it. I have heard stories of people driving both Hondas and Acuras to hundreds of thousands of miles. If I get get 200k out of it, then it will be worth it to me.
So my question is, would you go ahead and get one with say 90k on it?

the TL is way ahead of the explorer in terms of reliability and value. a TL should get you 200k with no problems. just take your time and find one that's in good condition.
