Gauge cluster bulbs problem
So I recently changed the bulbs out to blue ones in the gauges and it works but the light on its brightest setting is super dim. Is there a filter I can remove so they are brighter? I'm not using LED's since I tried that and none of them worked for some reason. I ordered the type 74 wedge bulbs from autolumination for 0.99 each so not a big deal but I'm not trying to cover the type s gauges with the reverse glow layover. I already read and searched a bunch. Thanks

white bulbs will show up blue in our gauges, adding blue with the filter there will make it dim. You can remove the filter but its a tricky process that can ruin the gauge if done wrong. Did you try putting the LED bulbs in the other direction to see if they worked?

Hmmm ok so if I put in bright white bulbs then I would get a nice blue or washed out blue? Yeah I tried the led's every which way and nothing worked.
