Post Gas-slotted rotors

I was looking for a price on gas-slotted rotors on Tim's parts page and it say "EMAIL", so I emailed for info. I got a reply back (from some guy named Cuong) saying that there was no current application for my car, a '99 TL. What gives?
Does anybody know if I can get gas-slotted rotors for my TL?

why do you want them they wont make a difference for street driving they are intended for track use to help disapate water, unless you are doing it for the looks then I would recommend getting cross-drilled rotors.

You're close, but:

1) They do not dissipate water, they dissipate Heat.

2) Cross-drilled rotors were designed specifically for racing, where they can replace them after each meet.

3) Slotted are more for street use. Keep in mind they are only the OEM rotors, so you probably won't see much in braking improvement. I'd suggest better pads (Axxis Metal Masters) and SS brake lines in addition to the rotors.

If you click on the "Email" for info, you wouldn't of gotten Cuong, you would of gotten me. The email on the Brake page (and anywhere on this site) is, info@acura-tl.com,
which I answer. If you email info@autocarparts.com, Cuong answers, which is my employee that answers all tech questions, etc.

I added the Brakes to the site

NSXNEXT- If I have my OEM rotors turned, can I use the Axxis pads or would I need to stay with OEM pads?
