$1.61 at Shell
In the beginning ( <600 miles) I got around 19.3+ mpg, now I get around 22 - 25 mpg (I'm at around 3300 miles) depending on how I drive. Funny thing...this is about the same as my '94 Integra which had about 155k on it.
Most of my Driving is stop and crawl (22 mile commute) 80 hw/20 city. The return home is much better. Speeds are around speed limit or below most of the time...I think
Just noticed that this thread was for the TL-S, I've got the TL-P.
I'm wondering if "Winter Gas" has any effect on gas mileage?

What the heck?!
The past two weeks (I guess they just brought out the summer gas) I've been getting 28-30mpg. During the winter it was 24-26mpg.
I just filled up today:
196.5 miles / 6.45gallons = 30.465mpg
I get Texaco mostly, sometimes a Chevron that's on another route I take on weekends.

I guess you guys all drive in non-go (as opposed to non-stop haha) traffic.
ps, I have 2001 3.2CL TypeS with Comptech hi-flow air filter and I removed that stupid resonator from the intake.

Guys, I just measured fuel mileage on the second full tank of my '03 TL-S. It computed to 23.4 on a combination of city/hiway of about 60-40. I don't drive like an old lady, but neither do cars pass me. This seems pretty good to me for a 3,400 lb. car with 260 hp!

In my worst full stop-and-go, short trips tank, I got about 19.3. The climate control is set at 70deg (AC running), and is always on. I've had the windows down twice since I've owned the car (9800 miles). Average city mileage is in the 21-22 range. Best highway trip (which was 50% back-road-bum****-FL) was 29.5mpg.

I'm using 87 octane and i'm getting 21 miles per gallon. I just couldn't figure out big difference using 93. Last 2 month I've used only 87 octane and before that I was using 93 octane. I hope my car does not have problema with that. I don't see any problems yet. Does anyone use 87 octane here.???

Well....around town, 20-23 using Shell Premium 93 octane. Out on the road....33+. I just posted not too long ago about getting 34.5 going to to Branson from Indy. 524 miles on 15.2 gallons averaging 70-75 mph. That with my brother, 2 golf bags, luggage for a week....etc. Coming home, it dropped to 33.5 mpg.....I drove pretty much 80-85 and took it to 120 once....LOL!!

which of our "fine" roads in the central FL area were you doing you stop/go on.
I don't drive the car that much. I commute with a '95 Accord, or my old '80Z28. 20 miles across the 408 to S. John Young. I work weird hours, so I avoid the traffic.

Last month I installed a K & N replacement filter. Prior to the filter change I was getting between 23-26 mpg, mostly highway mixed in with some heavy stop and go traffic. With the K & N and the same driving pattern I am seeing 27-30mpg. The engine "seems" to be running with less effort especially above 60mph.
Now bear in mind that the stock filter I took out was used and not a brand new one and was pretty dirty, so a proper comparison would have been with a clean stock vs. a clean K & N. But for $50 I now have a filter that will last the life of the car.

I'm pretty consistent. 330-340 miles on ~15 Gallons about 22 mpg. Mostly highway, but avg speed >80mph. Premium $1.59 in MA. Winter fuel I get under 300miles on 15Gal = <20mpg.
Guys who are getting 30mpg, I think your speedo/odometer must be off.

I have gotten over 30 mpg once, on a very long highway trip where my avg speed was 70 mph. The data was as accurate as one could possible hope to achieve, Refuel amount into the miles driven. On average, I get 22-26. So i KNOW it is possible to get 30 mpg, but it is atypical, and prolly not on an average commute.
btw gas in Jersey = 1.45 or so and if you are lucky some strap you knew from HS will pump it for you!!! BAAHAHHAHAHHAHHA
