Gas Fumes Coming From Driver's Side Rear
Hi All :
I'm noticing a strong gas smell coming from the rear on the drivers side. It's also quite strong in the trunk. I'm not seeing any fuel leaking on the ground or anywhere else.
Anyone else has this happen ? What's the probable cause ?
Thanks to all who reply !

Here's some more details...........
The tank is maintaining pressure, I know because of the rush of air when I losen it. This tells me that there is no pressure leakage.
I think it has something to do with the evap system, although it should through a code if it was leaking.

The evap would be the first thing i would look at. Its possible its full, i have seen a few on the forum with bad evaps. Try taking it off and see.

I changed the evap canister and shut valve four years ago and I've not been overfilling my car. So how would liquid gas get into the canister ? I'm thinking there's a hose off or a filter needing replacement. I can understand fumes, but not liquid gas.
What's confusing is, I should be getting a evap leak code and I'm not and the fuel system is fully pressurized.
Anything else cause this ?
