FYI: BAD Gas at Exxon station in Flushing, NYC

FYI:
I Just finish fixing my friend TL today, He's keeps getting CEL P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305 and P0306 after pumping gas from Exxon station located at Kissian Blvd and LIE in Flushing, Queens NY.

We have to drain the gas from his gas tank and release all the gas from the fuel line and refuel with new gas to resolve the problem.

He been pumping at the same gas station for many years, but this is the first time he's getting the problem.

I had those code come up before. It was right after I topped off my tank. I filled the vapor recovery system screwing up all the sensors in there and was tripping all the mis-fire codes. Took my dealer 3wks to get the parts in to replace it.

Yup. vapor lock will cause the engine to run lean as a result cause mis-fire.
on the side note: I believe Acura have a new FPR for TL in areas where gas have additional chemical require by state law that will increase vapor lock during the winter months.

If thats true, and this is a similar case, it sounds more like driver/user error than a problem with the gas at that station.
