Full size spare tire on the TL-S?
Is the trunk spare tire place large enough to hold a full size tire instead of the donut?
Imagine when you are out of town and have a flat tire during a long weekend. Can you go home with the donut?

I think the diameter should be a problem...it's the width of the tire that is the problem....when you have the trunk floor closed...it will push up about 1-2 inches above normal height

It will NOT fit...the regular tire is just too big for the opening...try it...take out your spare and try to put in your regular tire there...I've tired...

ah speaking from experience... jeez u would think acura ( a luxury brand name) would give us a full size spare...
that's one thing the germans have over us... attn to detail..
they put a full first aid kit in the rear arm rest in the audi's... small stuff like that is nice...

It is not a huge difference. The spare is 16". Its good enough to get you around for a while. Acura is a smart because the spare is big enough to handle everything on the road but it takes unnecessary weight off the car. Stock rims and tires are heavy.

Id only want the full size to replace my scratched up rim. Besides...a spare is a spare. You weren't meant to drive long distances on it because hypothetically if you did get a flat, I'd still want to repair my old tire purely because I wouldnt want to ride on 3 worn tires and 1 new one.
