fuel injection cleaner

Is it good to add fuel injection cleaner once in a while? Maybe 2-3 times a year.

I put in some Valvoline Syn Fuel Injector Cleaner. I did over 400 miles to the tank. 85% highway. It helps out...

I used a couple times a product called Barrymans (sp?) B12 (?) and it worked very well. Pep Boys and WalMart has it and it's very inexpensive. Should be under $3 a can that treats 16-24 gallons..

Injector cleaner

Should do it before changing oil. After the tank runs out the cleaner change the oil.

Unless your piston rings have some severe blow-by going on it won't matter. However I have found that using too much of the stuff (higher per-tank concentration than what the product calls for) can foul out your spark plugs with a white powdery substance.

try using a can of bg44k, i didn't feel any difference in my car but it's pretty new. however, after i stuck it in my mom's 94 previa, there was a significant amount of different. it's pretty expensive, but it works great, runs about $16 a can on ebay....it's supposed to be used every 15k miles
