my friend works at jiffy lube and i get free stuff done....

should i do it??? they say the car runs a lot better

agreed, some fool at jiffy lube tried to tell my friend his WRX was misfiring. i was like "yeah, i think we would catch that, not to mention the ecu would too"

For the age of your car, it's likely a waste of time and money.

Gas these days is pretty clean, and doesn't varnish up like it used to. As such, these "services" are really only of any benefit at 75-100K mile intervals.

Hey don't worry too much about some of the reply's you get on this forum. I've noticed that some people seem to knock anyone and anything that doesn't agree with what they think. Instead of having an intellegent discussion about issues, they flame people and use foul language. Sometimes I'm ashamed to be driving the same car as these guys. It seems that they are very immature, and act like spoiled brats. Too bad having money at such a young age doesn't bring intelligence and manners along with it.

you could always get a bottle of fuel injector cleaner and put it in your tank your self, or you could pull your injectors out and soak them in the cleaner. putting it in your tank would work about the same. unless you have high miles or its starting hard or running ruff i wouldnt bother.
