Does anyone use this stuff, and does it help. like stp makes a fuel cleaner that you pour into your gas tank and it supposedly cleans the dirt out of your fuel injector? any comments!

The only one I would use is the Chevron brand with Techron. It comes in a black bottle.....but if you use nothing but name brand premium gas and your car is fairly new, I doubt it is even neccessary.

But if you want to use one, get the Techron stuff.

ditto !! ......techron concentrate is the exact name of it ....its the same additive that chevron uses in there fuel and it comes highly recommened by many people....its quite expensive thou...6 to 9 bucks a bottle .....i sometimes use gumout xTra fuel injection cleaner too. But if ur using premium fuel all the time i dont find it neccesary to use an injection cleaner too often.

I've been using STP Complete Fuel System Treatment every 4K miles for years. My secretary bought a high mileage Maxima that pinged so bad even high test wouldn't help. After one bottle of the Complete Fuel System Treatment, she uses regular with no pinging.
