Front Rotors: Resurface or Just Replace??
I got a TL-S with 65,000 miles on OEM front rotors, I notice the steering wheel shakes a bit while braking at high speeds. I am pretty sure its the rotors warped, my question is should I both getting it resurfaced or just replace them with some mid-grade (ie Brembo or Bendix) rotors.
Thanks!
Thanks!

If its only shaking at high speeds and not during braking, I dont think its your rotors. However, if you are sure it is your rotors, then I along with everyone else here, will suggest that you just get new ones. The OEM ones suck, and if you get them resurfaced you will end up having to do it again and again. Save yourself the headache and just get new rotors, other then OEM.
Thats my two cents.

Do NOT resurface them that would be a total waste of money. Most people on here would recommend performace rotors but I got regular ones and they are awesome. I also got new pads with them and almost no brake dust its great. Whatever you decide I highly suggest buying new ones.

With 65k on them, the chances are high that someone before you has replaced the front pads and resurfaced the rotors
For the labor time involved- its best to replace them
On the budget end- NAPA American made (not the chinese ones) rotors are a good value and Hawk HPS pads will stop the car!!!

Most likely its the rotors. With that mileage its probably best to just replace them

Good choices
Make sure to follow the break in instructions for the rotors and then for the pads
You have to get the Hawks HOTHOT to transfer a layer of material to the rotor surface- that makes for less noise and way better braking

As everyone else recommended replace them. Resurfacing the rotors takes some material off and then the rotor has even less material on it. This in turn causes heat distortion (warping, uneven pad buildup, whatever you would like to call it) in the rotors more quickly than before.
