Just got a 99 TL and there is no bracket or holes for the license plate on the front bumber....

Although it seems there might be something sort of underneath the front bumber that may be for the license...

anyone have any ideas on the nicest way to mount the front plate preferrably without having to drill too many holes (if any)

you don't need any holes. there are 2 places for bolts under the back of the front bumper.

some people have holes in their bumpers for the plate, but that's optional and is done by the dealer to make the plate more stable- optional, but not necessary

whatever you do, dont drill the holes. your license plate is just fine with those two holes behind the bumper
