Not in 13years! I live in Plano and have never been stopped for that. In Dallas, they are having some major city budget problems and are cracking down. I had a customer who travels by Walnut Hill and Hillcrest and there was a cop trap set up where they would just point to you and motion you into a parking lot where they had about 12 cars at a time. It was a $40 ticket and the cop told my customer point blank that they were told to wright those tickets because they were easy and they needed to raise money.

My poor customer brought all 4 of his 2002 Lexus in for front plates (SC430, LS430, LX470 and RX300). We have to drill them into the front bumper. Cars are now ruined (in my opinion)!

I live in NJ and you have to have a front plate by law. I have a front plate allright, it just happens to be a chrome Acura plate.
I've been pulled over three times. I didn't get a ticket any of the times but they said to put my plate back on asap. I'll wait till I actually get a ticket b4 i do that. Lucky peopl in PA wich is only
40 min from me don't need front plates. In fact if you buy a car there you don't even get a front lic plate bracket.
