does fram still make this? i dont see it on their website. i'm getting close to changing the oil and this definitely would make it easier for future oil changes.

i had one for my tl and i think it was the biggest waste of money. the oil came out so damn slow. it took around 30 minutes for the oil pan to drain. absolutely ridiculous, especially in the winter when you're outside in the cold waiting. it's basically because of the size of the drainhole in the supplied oil drain bolt and the way they designed it.

if you feel compelled to try it though i do believe autozone still carries it. i'll check which one i have when i go home and let you know (they come in 4 different applications for specific vehicle families).

Im with him; I bought one, and thought it was the biggest waste of money. Some other company makes an oil pan drain valve as well; Fumoto, or something like that. Steer clear of the Fram though; its a piece of junk.

Naw they don't make it anymore I don't think. You might be able to order it online from places that still have some left. I use it on my TL and it works fine for me. Just jack it up hook up the hose and letr drain. Have a beer or something then come back. Just don't do it if you have to drive away immediately or something. I like to change oil while it is still hot so to me its a great thing but yes I have heard the fumoto is better quality. Can't comment on that but the fram works fine for me and not getting hot oil all over me is a plus for me!
