Fog Lights Not Working...

My fogs aren't working!
The light on the switch comes on, I can hear the relay click when hit the button and the fuse is not burnt out.
I Hooked them up so they they turn on with the parking lights and replaced the bulbs with 85watt bulbs over the 55 that were in there.

Now where do I look? Please Help...

So they aren't working immediately after the wiring? Sounds like you did something wrong.

Sorry, thats my bad... They worked fine after the wiring, I'm not an idiot. They just all of a sudden stopped working. Wiring was done about 2 months ago.

Check wiring around the fogs and check all your grounds. If you say your really is working then it's somewhere between the relay and fogs, which can't be many places.

Im gonna venture to say that you melted the plugs for your foglights or the wire that goes right into the plug. 85 watts is way too much man.

I assume you tried a 55W bulbs again, if you have a volt meter, see if you see 12Vs or so out of it when there should be power.

I will check the voltage when I get home tonight, I just installed the bulbs about 2 weeks ago and at that the car has been parked for about a week. I didn't realize they were 85 watts until after I received them. Thanks for the help and advice.
I know I burnt the wire harness on a previous car but that was when I installed 100w in my low beams side and I think it took about 6 months or so and it was driven every night at that time. I thought 55 to 85 was not going to be that bad.

I found out that I purchased my bulbs online on August 19 so figure an extra week before I got them and installed them... The wires look perfect and they are actually 80 watts ( not that much to make a big deal over)-
The light bulbs were burnt out already I re-installed the old lights and they work again. What a PITA!

You are right, depending on how often they are turned they will get burnt faster. So the 55W burnt out that fast?

I'm willing to bet it's the 85w bulbs that are the problem. They may have just burnt out, or they took the harness with them. You can replace the socket to a higher wattage one to handle the bulbs.
