Smile Financing & Stuff

I got my TL Type S yesterday with 7.4 % interest rate from CHASE through the dealer. This is my third round of financing through Chase. What is the interest rate for new cars in your area ? I may refinace it with a credit union if I can save half a point.
The navigation is pretty neat. I wish I had it in my 2001 330i.
I also have the spoiler on my Satin Silver Type S. It helps a bit when you back the car besides the sporty look.

Congrats on your new TLS. The APR from my bank was 7.45%. My credit union has it at 7.75%.

You have a 330i as well? Woohoo you got the best of both world!! Enjoy your new ride.

I am from Central Massachusetts and my credit union gave me 7.76% but I got 6.7% through the dealer from Chase.

The monthly difference between 6.5% (low) and 7.35% (high) is about 10.00 bucks a month on a 25k loan for 60 months. In other words, 600 bucks over the life of the loan. If you can get anywhere from 6.5% - 7.45% I'd say that's about as good as it gets right now. See if Acura will match the lowest rate that you can obtain....they'll do it.
** My local dealer, Fountain Acura is running a lease special on the Type S (48 months @ 448.00 a month with 12k mileage - Total out the door to drive away is $620.00!) Tell Clyde Roe that Gabriele sent you - - Hurry on down, ya hear!

My dealer got it through Compass Bank. I don't think I could get that low by going to them directly - must be some deal between the dealer and bank.

The amount I financed at 7.4% is $29,899. I could refinance at 6.9% but the monthly payment in a 60-month term will be only $7.06 less. I am staying put.

Cool

Got mine this afternoon for 6.64% through the dealer using Chase. Beats my 7.35% internet e-loan, and the transaction went much faster. Drove home TODAY! It was so quiet I thought my ears were plugged. Said goodbye to my Pathfinder :-(

Cool

Chicago area through company's credit union with direct deposit and auto payment option got 6.55% for 36 mo.

The dealer tried to talk me into a 6.9% Honda finance plan despite walking in with check in hand. Perhaps y'all should ask about this option if you're quoted higher.

Picked up the car last weekend.
