Finally 2 weeks later get my car back
well after 2 long weeks i get my car back, i was very happy. it was at the dealers getting the srs light problem taken care of. This is how it started, in january my transmission goes out at 100,050 miles. That is taken care of and the opds sensor was faulty so that was changed. 1500 miles later srs lights back one, same problem again and fixed again mid january. 2 weeks ago srs lights back on and same problem but parts back ordered and was said to be fixed. Driving around for a hour just happy to have my car back, srs lights back on. Is there anything i can do to take care of this problem? im fed up with taking it to the dealers and crap because im 18 they wont loan me a car and im without a car. They wont do it under my parents name either because i am the registered owner on it. Please help im really fed up but dont wanna get rid of the car because i love it too much.

First lets make sure you are not carrying anything like a backpack, laptop or other item in the passenger seat- that will freak out the sensors
Are you talking directly with the Service Manager about the
repeated nature of the problem?
Ryan is a good guy who will do all he can, but if parts fail they fail and all the dealer can do is order them again
At least they offer a ride home!

well they have been doing their job, a guy name glenn is helping me out, they are going to look at it again but this problem keeps coming up again and last night came on after 5 miles. Probably gonna trade it in or something.

i plan on getting it fixed because im not paying for it, but once its fixed then trade it in. I dont want it to come back again.

ok well i got some good news, they didnt ground two of the wires which caused this problem, so looks like ill be keeping it
