Few Nicks on the Bumper

It looks like some dumb kid hit my back bumper with a shopping cart. It didn't crack anything or dent anything but there's 3 places where the paint came off (chipped). I went to my Acura dealer to have the rotors machined, and at the sametime had an estimate created for these nicks. To repair the nicks, the guy said he has to take the whole bumper off, and repair everything by filling it in with some product, then wait 4h then apply another coat....and the list of stuff went on.

Well the final price to fix 3 small nicks is 710 cdn dollars with taxes. Is the guy out of his f*cking mind?

Can someone in the GTA suggest a place that can fix my bumper for something more reasonable then 700 bux?

any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

haha yeah dude i got that 2....I got my bumper paint strached by a tree branch no dents or anything just the paint came offwent to go get a check up on the car and asked about how much it would be to fix it.. He said that he would need to strip the bumper and repaint the whole thing for like $700 so we looked at a different alternative... and all we got was a bottle of paint for $7.62 and hopefully it will work.. he said you would need to paint the spot several times to level with the other paint and it must be dry weather since i live in TX claudette has been ruining everything lol well i hope this helps... its what i did...

Well that conversion is about $508 US dollars.. which isn't too horrible... although I agree that it's a lot of money for a little area. They aren't lying to you though... that is the process if you want it done right.

Personally I'd spend $10 and buy some touch-up paint. It will look pretty good and you'll end up saving a bunch of money....

710? How much is a new bumper anyway... I'd say either get a new bumper like Value... Or spend 10 bucks and get the touch up paint. I got my touch up paint from my salesperson for free...

When my friend hit me, I had a body shop put a whole new bumper on (painted) for less than 500. I think it was either 400-450.
