I believe the car they tested it on has an aftermarket intake, spacers and headers.... so I wouldn't exactly state the gains are "true", he should make a note that the gains are on a car with intake, headers, etc.

Still, this is probably among the best sounding exhausts available for the 2G. Looks great too!

actually.. before the dyno.. two weeks before.. if you've kept up with this thread..

I.. replaced my gutted cat with a original one.. then! replaced my CAI with stock airbox with a new air filter.. did me an oil change and left the headers in cuz i obviously wouldn't want to spend 2 hours alone swapping headers just for one day... and spacers.. spacers give like.. .5-1 whp..
in a way.. it is a TRUE gain but like.. in a somewhat way...

does anyone know what resonators do.....arent they for quieting the exhaust? does it make the exhaust sound nicer, or cleaner or is it just for quieting it?

with just the ATLP exhaust system and my stock jpipe and cat converter will it still have that low "beastly" sound?? and can i use my stock resonator with the ATLP quad exhaust system?

It will still sound very close to the video's and have a deep, throaty tone.

You won't be using your stock resonator since the ATLP exhaust is a complete cat-back exhaust, so it will just bolt on in place of your current stock exhaust.

Wish there was another group buy going for this. Will just have to buy it at the price it is. Still worth it though, it's a very nice exhaust. Now if I could only get my hands on some non-6speed Comptech headers for my CL.
