hey kris, this makes me wonder.

1) Are the bottom block specs the same for the TL-P and TL-S motors?
2) When boring out .1 liter, how many mm of the sleeve are they really boring out?
3) How much boring can we do to a point where it's not even safe anymore?

I know this is the wrong post area but..........

Will 19x7.5 +48 work? If anyone is on and knows, please let me know quick because I am meeting the guy to buy them, or not buy them, in a hour and a half.

Also, will this look bad? I don't really want to lower it, but will I need to? Approx how big will the gap be?

I have a '03 TL, navi, 20% tint. Thats all so far, I bought it 3 weeks ago. 15,900 with 42,500 on the motor.

What springs, if any?

HTech?

I believe the castings are the same. (though i havent inspected in close detail) I know the cyl linings are somehow different material
If i remember my manual correctly we can go something like .025??? (dont quote me on that). our cylinders share a common wall and are a open deck design. (89 mm bore, 86 mm stroke)

As you can see we dont have much material between the cylinders to remove (nor would i want to)

wouldn't it be possible to get the MDX motor, and then do some boring? Wouldn't that get you good numbers also?

I agree, no pics, just lip service. bs. No way this block can be opened up to accomodate 4.0.

Nor is the SRT-4 that good a car. I mean come on, do what you want to it, it's still a Neon. I don't care how fast it is, or if it will beat my TL-S, still just a Neon. I put it in the same category as Civics...crap and a rice wannabe.

Is this what you meant? I found it in my dealer brochure.

Either way I think this is total BS as well. Unless it is a totally custom engine. I know Level10 trannies exist. When I was on www.team-integra.net they were talked about often for the auto guys. Just very expensive to get one. They also make torque converters. If anyone is interested in browsing their the site is http://www.levelten.com/

They are some of the closest tires you can get to drag radial performance that is legal on the streets which is what I was getting to

I want to see the inside of this engine. Especially after seeing the pics of the normal cylinder walls. I want to know how the laws of physics don't apply to this guy.

The most we can make it is a 3.6 or 3.7 the most, we are currently working on that right now trying to get it to a 3.6

I think he's bsing on the 11.5 he said he had timeslips. But I know that car is definitely in the high 12s low 13s without NOS.... but theres no way we can verify the 4.0L eh?

I think with a little work and the maximum over sized piston i believe we would be able to achieve 3.7. no way do ever see a 4 out of this motor

Side note, thats my project that got put on hold till this winter (minimum 3.5 build)
