wait till he gets the new engine and turbo's installed and is putting down over 500 hp the only problem with that is that he wont get any grip till he is going 50.

what's the fastest n/a car out there? without boost or sc?

i've seen i/h/e show like ~225 whp. maybe with pulley, spacers, grounding kit, and e-manage/vafc or whatever you might be able to hit like 240 whp

I hit 230 whp with I/H/P. It's not that hard to do on a type S, and mine has never been a particularly fast one either. My best 1/4 was 14.4.

Hmm...it's been said that exhaust does nothing or very little for power (1-2 whp), but not only did Type-s09 post a higher dyno figure, but in another thread he posted a 1/4 mile time of 14.2.

You two have similar mods:

fla-tls
AW headers
CT Icebox
UR pullies

type-s09
CT headers
Injen CAI
UR pullies
+OE spacers
+CT exhaust
+Mugen cooling mods

Which of the the last three resulted in the bulk of that extra 8whp? Or are the Comptech headers are that much better than AW headers (as fla-tls had)

Dyno, location, weather all could be teh difference in HP.

True. I think the AW headers were similar in gains to comptech. They are basically the same design. Actually - I dynoed with the OBX headers that I had at the time which actually had smaller ports (engine exhaust port was larger than the inlet to the header).

My dynos varied by up to 10 hp depending on temp. It's really not an exact science.

What? I was responding to the original poster who asked for the fastest TLS. I don't know if he meant fastest TL or fastest TL Type-S. I figured it was the latter.
