Fargin Dealers
Took the TL in for service and warranty work about a month ago and got taken for a ride. I wanted the 35K service, drivers creaking seat fixed, seat belt tensioner on drivers side didn't always pull the seat belt up, trim on the windsheild curled up, the trunk barely pops up and there is a vibration at 60 mph. I picked up the car and they performed the service, ordered tracks for the front seat (gotta come back), said the seat belt was similar to other cars, trim was like that on other models, the trunk lifted similar to other carss and the car needed new tires. Two weeks later, take the car back, replace the seat tracks (still creaks), trunk lifts a little better not much and after my wife biatched at them, replaced the seat belt and this weekend while cleaning the car, discovered they punched a hole in the leather. I replaced the tires and the front end still shimeys at 60 mph. Man I'm about to explode.............

Vibration at 60 might = bent rim.
I just went through this (do a search for my post in TL Discussion, 'steerin wheel vibration ...' ). After trying to balance my tires 3 times, 2 alignments, and new tires it was a bent rim. Go to www.hunter.com and look up the GSP9700 machine. Search for a shop in your area and take it there.
As for the other things, I can't help. Try another dealer maybe?

vibration at high speeds could also be a bad alignment. you should have that checked too. (in addition to looking for a bent rim)
I also say check your tire pressure, but with new tires and still vibration, I'd rule out pressure. Also have the balancing double checked. You never know.
you can get them repaired, but be careful. I had this done at the only place I could find locally (w/my last car) and they repainted the rim too. A nice, NON-matching silver. At first you couldn't tell, but then a week into it, the paint was chipping and the rim looked like crap. Although the lip was resurfaced perfectly.

Did you have to replace the rim or could it be repaired?
