factory amp location...

Hey guys-
I recently installed an aftermarket HU in a friend's 03 acura tl.

I didn't realize until we were done that there was a factory subwoofer, and it would not be powered!

realizing his non-navi bose system must have an amp, i'm wondering where it's located, and also wondering if it accepts rca level type inputs at all?

I might just replace it with an aftermarket amp.

Thanks for the help!

amp in the HU powers the door speakers, amp for the sub is located behind the rear seat on the right side. so far its been said that an aftermarket HU loses the sub, no matter what

bah i just read the FAQ in the audio/video forum!
it appears you can just splice an rca cable, and connect them to the wiring going to the sub
you can close this.
