How do you know if your factory alarm has been triggered? I know on aftermarket alarms usually the way the alarm notifies the driver is by the LED light blinking a different pattern or by the way it beeps as it unarms itself. What about the TLS? Any way to tell? Thanks

 

Yes .... usually you can tell when the door lock has been ripped out or another way is when there are millions of tiny pieces of green glass all over the seat n floor of your car.

On a more serious note .... the factory alarm sucks and as far as i know there are no tell tale ways to find out if the alarm was triggered while u were away...you may try to find the answers in the manual or ask ur dealer......but if you feel at risk and think you may need a real alarm i suggest you get an aftermarket one installled by a professional ....my personal choice is the compustar 2wss with a proximity sensor.....AND NOOO I DONT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY OR GET PAID TO ENDORSE THIS PRODUCT !!
