Factory Alarm HELP!!
Hi guys im having a serious problem with my 03-TLS.
It all started 2 nights ago when my factory alarm was going off at 4am for NO reason at all, So I unlocked and re locked the doors via the key fob and then 2 min later the alarm went off again. Fed up and scared of it going off again I left the door ajar so the factory alarm could never activate. The next day I closed all doors hood and trunk firmly. Locked the doors the red LED started to blink and off I went about a minute after the alarm went off again.
I did some searching and was led to the hood latch, I got through the back of the grille and disconnected the gray plug (male) that plugs into the black plug (female) . I immediately noticed that on the dash if the hood was open it didnt show on the cluster. Great I bypassed the system! I then proceeded to lock the doors (security LED flashes)and boom a minute later the alarm goes off even though the hood latch plug was unplugged
??
Now the only was I can sleep at night is if I leave the hood on the release position just slightly topped up or if I leave the door ajar. I also have a compustar 2 way that I've had for 3 years which has never caused me any problems. By leaving those things open the factory Security system never arms itself.
Since I have the compustar 2 way that works great I really have NO use at all for the factory alarm I just want to disable it completely since its causing me so much trouble. I searched but found no luck on how to completely disable the stock security system any help would be great!!

Sorry bud, I came in here and knew exactly what the issue was.
about 6 years ago, my car was doing the same exact thing (was my sisters at the time)
It would never do it for the service people (obviously) but it was. The factory alarm is hooked up to almost every body panel/component so trying to figure out which one is the problem is damn near impossible.
Instead of wasting all the money, I disconnected it. I (obviously) haven't had that problem since.
Sorry it sucks so much, but unless you stay awake all night and see what trips it, if anything, you're not going to figure it out. maybe you have a draft, or an animal in your garage/outside that hits the one loose panel on your car? I couldn't tell you except that there is like a 1% chance you'll figure it out
EDIT: WOW I should read your post lol! yeah the stealership should be able to disconnect your alarm in about 5 minutes. If I remember correctly, it's an OBDII code or something.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news

Going to the dealership would be my last option, Now Im just driving around with the hood popped and so far so good the alram never arms itself as long as the hood or the doors are open.
I was thinking is there a way to have the alarm think that the hood is ALWAYS open instead of it being closed? Can I open the circuit somewhere to trick the alarm system into thinking that the hood or door is open that was it will never arm itself??
