Factory alarm chirp

Does the 1999 TL have a factory alarm chirp when you arm or disarm the car ???

My 2003TL Type S has a low volume beep (not from the horn) indicating that it is set. Disarming the security just flashes the dims and tail lights no sound.

The 99 gives a quick horn blow if you press lock twice. 2000 and up give a more BMWish beep noise when you do that.

They changed the alarm horn from the 99 to 00 TL.

is there any way to change the 99 horn sound to the new chirp? anyone do this yet?
