Just picked up my 2002 3.2TL with Nighthawk Black Pearl color. Great looking car , wanted a black black exterior, but in sunlight I see a reflective blue iridescent metallized color.
Definitely different than the brochure paint chip color.

Any of you 2002 NBP color owners experience the same appearance?

The "Nighthawk" portion of the paint is the dark blue metallic. Just like the dark midnight sky with the stars! If you have a real paint chip (not printed in a brouchure) take it out to direct sunlight, and you should see the same dark blue metallic.
