Not every car has had problems or ever will with the transmission.
Unless you are having the warning signs that ACURA stats in the letter I would not be worried about it & even after that as long as your below the 100,000 mile interval & have not own the car 7years that non of us have yet. Your car is covered under this Transmission/ Torque Converter extended warranty. The warranty covers all 2000-2002 ,3.2TL models & all 2001-2002 CL models & some 2003TL & CL models.

To put your mind at ease....

If you do a search of this topic from around Sept. thru Dec. of last year you'll find postings confirming that Canadian owners were notified of the same warranty extension (160,000 km). You could also call Acura client services and confirm this or log onto acura.ca
and register/search your vehicle.

i did indeed look in2 the canadian ext'd warranty, and pretty much it's 7yrs/160,000km, however the stupid service guy on the phone said it doesnt coverr all 2002 models, im pretty sure it does cover all 2002's and only some 2003's, i think he is wrong, also i tried puttin my VIN in the owners site online but it didnt recognize it, im just goin to go down one day and get the real scoop in person.

Go here, register, type in your VIN, then it will tell you whether you're in or not.
