get some 3a racing tips. I'm in florida right now and just picked up a set of them. They are gonna look so pimped out.

the ones I got are the round, slant cut, resonated bolt on. the item number is 62-2354.

they are 3.5 x 9.

good luck!

ya, the exhaust pipe will simply have more room in there. Resonated will actually reduce the amount of noise that the exhaust makes.

very little difference.

I have the 3.5" 3A Racing Tips. I originally had the 4" tips but thought they were too big. They bolted on pretty easy, but the old bolts were rusted pretty good.

It fits, the bolts are adjustable. The resonated doesn't really mean anything. Usually resonator are used to lower noises but not really in this case.

I wouldn't waste my money on ax back. You won't get any gains and it's a waste of 200-600 dollars. Only get it if you're looking for the look (which can be achieve with the tips) or sound. If you want some gains atleast go cat back (comptech), but that's major money.

Last time I look any exhuasts that fits on 00-03 TLs will fit on the 99TL. Just like the Comptech IceBox or AEM CAI, they leave the poor 99TL out because they never tested it on the car.

If you have a kit, you can get away with the 4". However if you don't, you can easily tell that it's a bolt on so I would suggest the 3 1/2"
