Engine shake question

Hey guys i have a 2002 acura tl-s and when i picked it up i noticed that from 1500-2000 rpm the whole car shakes pretty good, ive looked under the hood and the harmonic balancer wobbles quite a bit and at 2000 it makes a terrible noise but above 2000 and below 1500 everything is fine and very smooth, just wondering what you guys think. im hoping it is just the harmonic balancer is bad. Also im supposed to be taking a 3 hour road trip this weekend and im just wondering if it would be able to stand that trip so i can change it when i get home to the garage

This happened to me before but on a 1994 Accord. The harmonic balancer has a rubber that is pressed in the center which cracked causing vibration to the whole car... if you can visually see that your harmonic balancer is wobbling, then it might be worth inspecting the condition of it and replacing it...

i wouldnt risk it... especially if you are going on highway speed... its a 50/50 shot... problem is if the balancer totally gets out of aligment, then all your belts will be affected or worse...
