time has come, in about a month our 2000 TL-P goes back. in a way i'll miss it, the autoshift awesome, i love the entire powertrain. the cabin and other coachwork could use some major improvements, due to rattles and other things that shouldn't happen on a $30,000+ luxury sedan. Throughout the 3 years we've kept it stock, figured i'd never get my money back if i bought a short ram or CAI. but the other day i was thinking, in a month it won't be my problem, so for 1 day only i removed the top half of the airbox and filter, and removed the top portion of the air box off of the piping that leades to the throttle body (basically its just the throttle body pipe leading to the open airbox). i'm sure some of you guys will be doin the ol :flamer: on me, but i don't care. it wasn't rainy or yucky out, it was a beautiful day. anyway, holy cow does that intake scream
i wish i would have just ate the money and bought a short ram, i love it, then at the end of the day i put it all back together. it definitely sounds different then the usualy 4 banger intakes i'm used to around here. oh well

thats a good question, we aren't really sure yet, before that we had an Infiniti J30, and loved it. so we may go back to infiniti, the G35 sedan looks pretty nice. but not sure. i'm in school, i've been thinking about starting a project car but i'm not sure yet. we have a 1987 nissan maxima se which is doing us wonders, we paied $1600 for it and already put 8,000 miles on it in 5 months, where 8,000 miles on the TL leased would be killer lol. we have a 96 land rover discovery which will be in the O.R. pretty soon due to valve problems. we aren't sure yet, i'll definitely let you guys know though
by any slim chance we stay with acura.. TSX looks nice

haha, well, if the people buying our TL afterwards wouldn't get a warranty, i wouldn't have done it, so really i'm punishing our Acura dealership, they will have to pay for the engine, and they would have to do the install. i told my one friend i did it and he wanted to know if i sucked up a chipmunk, although i laughed at first, how sweet would that be if by accident one was in the airbox.. haha, good owned picture there.. yuck
