Looking at my receipt for EGR warranty work I had done on my car, and it reads the following:

06176-P8F-A00 KIT, EGR Pipe WARRANTY

This kit was installed under warranty; however, does anyone know whether or not the EGR ports were cleaned during this time as well? If not, then I would like to clean these over the weekend using Kris' instructions he provided a while back. Thanks !!

odds are if they installedthe kit, they did clean it, but you can check by removing the top plate on your intake manifold. if you remove it and its still full of carbon buildup they didnt clean it durring the pipe kit install.

yup. you will have to remove the plastic engine cover. it covers 2 of the bolts
