Easy Way to Clean Interior
Before you guys laugh just try this out it really works. For years I've been using a leaf blower to dry my car after washing. It works great for removing most of the water especially in the areas like door handle, gas filler, grill, door sill etc. Today I used it to clean out the interior and it worked great. Just open all 4 doors and remove all loose items that you don't want blown out. Blow the air from one side out the other being sure to get under the seat and up in the dash area. Also the rear deck. It will remove all loose dust, dead bugs and anything else that is lying around. My car has not been this clean since it was new. It is especially great for getting the dead bugs out of the rear deck where it's hard to vac. Try it and don't laugh. My neighbors think I'm nuts but it works.:thefinger to them.

I'm laughing not b/c of the technique... but the visual of you blowing out your car with all four doors open... it looks funny in my mind. It's also funny b/c I can picture your neighbor's faces .....
Anyway.. that's not a bad idea... I'll have to try that next time I'm blowing off the exterior after a wash!!

That's a great idea! It's a little like how I keep my engine clean.
I put the car on the driveway - engine cold. I spray lots of armorall all over the engine and -basically- every component under the hood. Really soak it... (be careful of breather lines, your alternator, etc.)
I wait at least an hour (usually overnight), and lightly hose it off with water.
Then I take a leaf blower to dry it. You would be amazed at how the armor all helps the engine repel dirt. I've done it twice, my car has 13k miles, and the engine looks better than it did when I drove it home! One treatment lasts for months.
