No, you don't give them your VIN. As has been discussed in other threads, go to towerpaint.com and order a spray can for your exact color. Give them your year, make, model, color name and color code and $16.95 plus shipping. Simple. You can also go to paintscratch.com and get the same spray paint. Cost $24.95.

your best bet is to go to a paint store or online and give them your paint code and they can make it for you, but it's still going to be tuff to match b/c it has a pearl coat and that isn't easily done, especially in a single stage. most pearl paints are three stage jobs

Really your best bet would be to goto a bodyshop and talk to the painter in the booth. you can go with any company for paint, i got RM on my front fender and half of the door on a NBP and it is a better quality paint then factory, lol wich isnt hard to find, but the paint i have guys spray $200,000 hotrods with. tell the automotive painter what your looking for he will have the best answers!!!

Just checked Dupli-Color's website and it looks like they dont make any white diamond pearl color. I dont know why they would have taffetta white though...Im thinkin the pearl is hard to duplicate? Let us know what you find.

Look in your phone book for automotive PAINTs stores (not parts stores) Call around and see if any of them will put into a spray can for you. Other wise you could buy just the raw material (ask them to reduce it for you) and head over to home deopt and pick up one of these. And you can spray it with this.
You can also buy paint in the can (not the cheap duplicolor crap that never matches) from tower paints (search google for them)

k if you look in your door sill on the drivers side it should have the paint code on it, and then goto a automotive paint store and as them if they have any paint for this code. then spray it how yu want, or have some one do it for you for like 100 bucks, or maybe a case of beer!!

That sprayer is if you want to buy just the material. With that you dont have to put it into a spray can or buy them. You would just buy the paint and use that as your spray can. For a complete lip kit you will probably need 1 qt fully reduced material.
A lip kit is an awfull lot to paint with one of those or by can. Why are you settling on just good enough. Save up your money and have it done right. It will look 100x better and you will be alot happier with the outcome.
