dull paint
i have a black '02 tl (non-s) and i've noticed the paint (especially during day), even after i wash it looks very dull. it seems to have lost the glossy finish it used to have.
i mentioned it to a buddy of mine and he say to me "just drop a few coats of clear coat on it". that doesn't seem very feesable to me.
what can i do to bring back the glossy shine it used to have.
what products are there available in canada?

uhhh.
i think your friend is right.
short term...clay bar.
are you original owner?..
maybe previous owner compounded the sh*t out of it..
or something like that.
maybe it needs a couple good succesive coats of wax..
canada?......where is that?..

Claybar will not only remove any imperfections, it also strips all your old wax. After clay barring, you should do a 3-5 step process which includes a paint cleaning, polish and seal in the shine with a wax. You should get a tremendous shine out of it that way...
