Drive belt auto tensioner replacement

How do you get to the top bolt on the tensioner? Do you have to remove the bolt holding the dipstick tube in place? For the life of me I couldnt get a socket on there to break it loose, it looked like the dipstick tube was in the way. Even getting to the dipstick tube bolt doesnt seem easy either.

I was able to get to the other 2 bolts by removing part of the inner fender well, but that top one caused me to give up.

Thanks.

I used a 1/4 ratchet with a 10mm long socket to get it out, the dipstick tube has to come out to make room.

Yes, remove the dipstick tube and you will have plenty of access to the top bolt

One more question - is the center bolt a different head size than the other 2? I thought my 10mm was spinning on it, is it 8 or 9 instead?

I believe it was an 8mm, once exposed just turn it with your fingers
