Drilled Rotors

Hey im due for brakes and rotors soon maybe about a thousand miles left on them, does anybody know where i can find a drilled/slotted rotor package for a good price? and what's a good reliable brand name? I heard that some of the cross drilled rotors tend to crack idk if its a rumor or if they are reliable. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Our vendors. Heeltoe or Excelerate offer great rotors. Cheap drilled rotors are more likely to crack. Id stick with slotted personally.

Check in the sponsored sales/ group buys of the black market section. Brakemotive has a deal for all four rotors( cross drilled and slotted) and pads for 145$. I have 8000 miles on mine and no signs of warping.

ive got 200k on my rotora rotors no warping. They are in need of replacement (the slots are almost completely gone from rotor wear) they have endured a few track days with aggressive pads

ALWAYS drive the first 500 miles easy and avoid hard stops if possible, THEN bed the pads in. And NEVER over torque the lug nuts.

besides the track days, are most of your miles highway?

my commute is about 80/20 city/highway. i try not to be harsh on my brakes but when you have a few million people on an island only 20 miles wide, sometimes you don't have a choice. i feel sorry for my brakes and my trans.

its all hwy till i get to where i am going, then its city type driving all day (its best to describe as lots of stop and go). My car also often never gets shut off all day except for lunch

you must brake properly, even pressure alll the way to stop, not pumping, or jamming on the brakes, i've wrapped a rottor once and thats because they had been cut already and were worn out.

Powerslot/STOPTECH have some of the best discs available for this car. The Powerslot slotted front disc has a curved vane and a power alloy compound. If you want a great brake package take a look at our package:

i'm definitely going to look into that, not a bad price at all and if there good quality that's whats most important. Thanks

Yeah. I was questioning how good they would be for the price. So far it is the best I have had on the car. No warping or hot spots and I've been even harder on these brakes.

I'm pretty sure for bigger rotors you will need new calipers.

You cant. They wont fit under the stock calipers. You would have to get a BBK

+1 on RL calipers. I just painted mine black today. Will post pics later . But yup our cars call for 12.75" rotor from a 350z to match out bolt patern. Going with Akebono Pads and brakemotive rotors. I've got an extra set of RLs if anyone's Interested before I put on black market later on.

Actually it's not as bad compared to other bbk. It just depends really on how much you get the calipers for.
