I took my tls in to acura of memphis for service today and they gave me $50 dollars a day to get a rental. The problem is that all the cars are rented so i am stuck with a grand prix gt. It is slow and cheesy. It is all plastic inside. I can't wait to get my car back.

It's amazing how much you all b!tch about FREE LOANER CARS. Ya know they could just say F U and tell you to take the bus. Loaners are a dealers choice, not a requirement.

Be happy you got what you got. You could be walking.

Sucks the better rental cars were out, but that must be a great dealership. $50 a day is alot!!! Most insurance companies wont even give you that much towards a rental, and thats part of what you are paying them for.

Well I guess that's the nice way of saying it.

I bought my car through acura of memphis. They are fantastic. They replaced my fog light that was hit by a rock i think and a chip in my paint that was also my fault and they did it under warranty. I cant even tell it was there. Also he took apart my door to fix a squeaky handle and fixed a squeak in the dash. And I do realize that 50 a day is alot. They are a great dealer and I don't deny this, I have never been treated better by a car company.

I got a 1990 honda accord with 225000 miles on it for a loaner. It is just a loaner, no big deal.

Wow, sounds like that's a good dealership! Maybe I should have bought my car there instead of at Little Rock.

BTW, I told my dealership about a big ass chip on my hood and they were like "hmm, you need to buy yourself some touch-up-paint. The lady at the parts department can help you out".

Happy Camper!

HMMM!! When I take my '91 Legend with 150,000 miles in for an oil change or minor repair Flatirons Acura of Boulder Colorado has always given me a loaner. I've gotten decent Intergas, a CL Type-S! and even got to request a TL to try out. Sure it was a 1999 with a few miles on it but I still got to play with it. The wife hated the seats. They were slippery and she complainted they hurt her back. I told the Type S had better ones. I guess need to keep Flatirons in mind when I go shopping for my new TL.

I share your pain!

My beloved TL-S got into a fight with a Ryder truck almost a month ago and finally the Jerk's insurance appraiser found some time to take a look at my baby and decide how much to pay up.
I got my rental yesterday ... (drum roll please) ....

a 2000 Chevy Impala !!!!
Click below if you want to take a look at this beauty. It is a behemoth that made my garage guy almost fall off his chair laughing when he saw me pull up in it!

http://us.autos1.yimg.com/autos.yaho.../b/IMPALA6.jpg

The kicker is that this was the last car in Enterprise's lot, and the manager made like he was doing me a huge favor by giving it to me. Seems like an Impala is a double upgrade!!!

I guess the one good thing about it is that people on the highway think I'm an unmarked cop!!!
