Did you buy the Dynamat in a pre-formed kit or custom cut it and install it? Also, how big of a difference did it make?

I put some Dynamat Extreme in my trunk, but I think I am going to rip it out now and spray the stuff in. The Sheets look like crap and they have to be cut into 100 different pieces.

I did mine about 6 months ago. I got the Dynomat Trunk Kit. It was pretty easy to do. Big difference. As far as smelling is concerened I this it is a whole bunch of BS cuz It dosent unless you are trying to sniff right on it. But its great.

I made the mistake of doing it when it was hot outside. Boy was it a pain to get on. I got some of the black tar crap on my carpet. Anyone know how to get rid of tar on carpet?

Try either Goof Off or Goo Gone; if either doesn't work or is too strong so as to possibly damage the carpet, you can try freezing the tar and then cutting/chiseling it out; of course, this is like a last-ditch effort as doing so will probably wind up removing some carpet fibers.

Try these: http://www.properautocare.com/carfabcarpro1.html. Use the Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner and the Spot Remover also.
